I really like this place! Their ramen is sooooo good. I struggle to not eat it all like a vacuum in under a minute lol. Service is pretty good. They take it seriously. There's a bunch of cute little knickknacks to peruse through to the left of the store. Cool options for food you can't really find anywhere else nearby. The foreign chips selection is awesome. I've tried a bunch of them and I will keep going back for more. Haven't tried the bubble tea yet but will soon! Overall I really like it. Nothing similar anywhere nearby and it's not overly expensive either.

Really great shop with an impressive selection of Asian groceries. If you're looking for a specific item for any Asian cuisine that is hard to come by at large grocery chains, chances are you will find it here. They also have an insane selection of instant ramen and they are so much tastier than the standard ones sold at every American supermarket. I highly recommend Shin Black and Jin ramen. Their prices are great, particularly for produce. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The store is clean, well organized, and inviting. 10/10!

Love this market. Good selection of groceries. Whale tea is great. But the absolute best is the cafe! Everything I've eaten there has been delicious. Highly recommend!

A good place to shop for Asian groceries. We get Thai basil, many other Thai special grocery items here which we don't find anywhere else. It's maintained very clean. They have a small juice bar inside where they offer Thai teas, and desserts. We tried non diary bubble tea and it was yum.

This small market in East Haven exceeded my expectations. It had such a cute interior and an entire plushy section! There was also a variety of products I can't find at other Asian stores in CT like Vietnamese Chocopies. Their selection of produce is small, but I appreciate the range of dry and frozen goods. There is also a ramen station ($2) like the ones in convenience stores in Korea! I came specifically to try the egg waffle ice cream from Whale Tea and it was well worth the $7.50. While the egg waffle wasn't hot, it still had a good texture and I actually liked that it wasn't warm enough to melt the ice cream and become soggy. The matcha ice cream itself also had a good flavor.

Bubble tea is always a treat to find and whale tea seems to be best in the area. This one is on the inside and there is both a grocery and oriental novelty shop next door. Parking is amble and the place is pleasant to be at. There is limited seating but for those along shoreline this is probably your best option for a boba tea experience

Organized Asian Market with a small noodle bar and boba tea set up within the store. We have been going to the store for 8 years and it brings me back to shopping in Asia.
